Gwendolyn J. Stewart-Palmer

Gwendolyn received a Bachelor of Arts degree (with Distinction) in 1985 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1986, both from the University of Alberta. In 1988, she received a Master of Laws degree (with Merit) from the University of London (London School of Economics). She was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1987 and the Law Society of England and Wales in 1991.

Gwendolyn's main areas of practice include municipal law and employment and labour law. Her municipal practice involves representing municipalities on a broad range of issues, including annexations, land use issues and assessment issues.  She provides advice to many subdivision and development appeal boards and assessment review boards throughout the Province.

She has appeared in all levels of Court in the Province of Alberta and before many tribunals, which assists her in tailoring advice to her clients.
