Updates
Our office continues to remain open and fully functional. For the first months of the pandemic, we worked from home with only one partner in the office. As Alberta has begun to open up through Phase 2, we have increased the presence of lawyers in our office, while remaining committed to “flattening the curve.”
- Half our lawyers will attend the office on any day. In terms of office operations, we have strict controls around only attending when healthy, cleaning surfaces, hand hygiene, masks and social distancing. Anyone entering the office has their temperature checked.
- The lawyers who are not in the office will work from home. All lawyers have secure VPN connections to the office and we maintain electronic files on a daily basis.
- In terms of client meetings, we will meet by teleconference or video conference instead of in person. In circumstances where “in person” meetings are required, we will accommodate them.
We continue to monitor directions of the Medical Officer of Health and the City as well as developments in the COVID-19 Pandemic.
