Associate Lawyer (4-6 years)
We are looking for a lawyer with 4 – 6 years at the bar with a passion for the law, intellectual curiosity and a commitment to life long learning. Experience and interest in municipal law or other administrative law would be an asset.
We seek associates who have the capacity to be well rounded lawyers, skilled in oral advocacy, legal research and solicitor’s work.

Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Job description
We currently have an opening for an individual with a positive and professional attitude to work as a Legal Assistant / Paralegal within our team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and assemble legal documents such as opinions, briefs, and pleadings based on written instruction, verbal direction and precedents.
Proofread and edit all documentation for grammar, spelling, and content accuracy.
Assist with general practice office management, including filing, scheduling meetings and court dates, and travel arrangements
Manage calendar and emails for lawyer as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Three or more years of direct work experience in a legal assistant / paralegal capacity.
Strong knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles, and terminology.
Good understanding of legal reference materials, procedures, and legal filing systems.
Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion.
Superior interpersonal skills to interact with employees, lawyers, clients, and external agencies.
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and office productivity applications.
Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation for complex documentation.
Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Resourcefulness and flexibility.
Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is critical.
Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases.
Meticulous records maintenance skills.
