Shores Jardine LLP is proud to report that Bill Shores K.C. has been made an Honorary Member of the Alberta College of Pharmacy, the professional regulatory body for the practice of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Alberta.  The Honorary Member award is the College’s most prestigious award granted to an individual who has never been a regulated member of the College and has, in the opinion of Council of the College, rendered distinguished service to the practice of pharmacists or pharmacy technicians.  Bill has served as the Alberta College of Pharmacy’s legal counsel for nearly 30 years, during which time he has assisted with the development of governing legislation, including working to give pharmacists the authority to prescribe and to integrate pharmacy technicians into the College and defending the College’s ability to adopt standards of practice in the public interest in Court.

Bill received his award on June 12, 2024 at ACP’s Celebration of Leadership.

A link to the College’s announcement is available here and Bill’s interview with ACP is available here.
