On December 31, 2025, the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General of Alberta announced the recipients of the honorary title of King’s Counsel in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the legal community. Craig Boyer of Shores Jardine LLP was one of the recipients. The official appointment ceremony was held on April 23, 2026 .
The King’s Counsel designation is an honorary title bestowed upon lawyers to recognize exceptional merit and contributions to the legal profession and community. The appointment is made to lawyers demonstrating attributes making them a leader in the legal profession.
