Updates
As part of the Nunavut Law Society’s 2015 initiative to provide a series of “Lunch & Learn” professional development events, Shores Jardine LLP was invited to contribute by presenting on the topics of Administrative Law from a Practitioner’s perspective and the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement: Understanding its Building Blocks. On June 10, 2015 and June 15, 2015, Craig Boyer and Cindy Kieu presented to the members of the Nunavut Bar on their respective topics. Both events were well attended and generated thoughtful and informative discussions on the emergent issues in the areas of administrative law and modern land claims interpretation and implementation.
Descriptions of the events may be found at http://lawsociety.nu.ca/professional-development-events/
