Presentation by Ashley Reid to the Canadian Bar Association Administrative Law North and Health Law North Sections

On January 22, 2025, Ashley Reid did a presentation for the Canadian Bar Association Administrative Law North and Health Law North Sections.  She discussed how the Courts have approached the judicial review and statutory appeals of a professional regulator’s decisions in the five years since the Supreme Court of Canada’s decision since Canada (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration) v Vavilov, 2019 SCC 65.  Ashley co-authored two articles with William Shores, K.C. on the same topic, which are published in the Canadian Journal of Administrative Law and Practice.
